What value is there in the imagination?
A monkey reading this peace could even boast
Of possessing an understanding.
An imagination matching the mind of the writer?!
Sit still awhile wonders of the world.
There are fewer tourists to the planet these days.
Though the sea tires of licking salt,
I know my meal tomorrow will still taste bland.
Thankfully I am not a cook.
That would be another identity I would again feel an obligation to satisfy.
The days of sleeping are over.
Time to look for ways to improve the nation’s GDP,
Without feeling a need to earn a reputation.
Can I be just another faithful woker in the colony,
Playing his part in building the hive?
